Real has slipped to third place in La Liga, a full 10 points behind Barcelona with just 8 games left in the Spanish championship. Although mathematically Real isn't out of the title race, the handsome hunks from Madrid have already accepted that the title is beyond their grasp.

But as Gareth Bale told Marca, Real aren't going to give up the ghost just yet. “I think everything is possible in football. We're 10 points behind, but we will keep fighting until it is impossible. We have to score there. We know it will be difficult and we will have to be at 100 percent. You have to attack them and, if we play our best football, we will win. On Saturday we can get to within seven points of them and you never know what might happen next.”
In respect of their late former coach Johan Cruyff, Barcelona is planning a number of special tributes before the game to honor the legendary Dutch soccer great, who passed away after a battle with lung cancer on Mar. 24. Johan was responsible for pushing Barça into investing heavily on their youth set-up, and thanks to him that has defined their style over the years.

These two giants have already played each other once this season. Real and Barça locked horns at the Santiago Bernabeu back on Nov. 21 and Los Blancos were humiliated by the team from the Catalan 4-0 in a whitewash!
